The visa/work authorization (with the formation of employment relationship) is the one applicable when a Brazilian company actually intends to hire a foreigner. The characteristic feature of this type of visa is the employment relationship that the foreigner will have with the Brazilian company that hired him. Thus, for the purposes of this visa, it is essential that there is some inter-est from the Brazilian company to hire a foreigner. If this interest exists, it will require the making of an employment contract, which is valid for 02 years, assuming a renewal for the same period. Clarifies that the foreigner contracted by a Brazilian company may not exercise powers of management, i.e. cannot be part of the company's management board.
As seen, the hiring of skilled foreign workers by a Brazilian company depends, necessarily, of the prior authorization of the Ministry of Labor, specifically from the General Coordination of Immigration.
